Enjoy the very best of Tuscany in one week. This unforgettable seven-day itinerary by de-luxe chauffeured vehicles combines our most popular one-day tours and will take you through some of the world’s most celebrated countryside on a private tour of Florence, Pisa, Lucca, the Chianti area, Siena, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Montalcino, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Montepulciano and Cortona.

Day 1: Florence
Your driver for the week will pick you up and drive you to Florence. capital of the Renaissance and Italian arts. You can decide which landmarks to visit today, but Piazza della Signoria and the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore are must-see sights.

Day 2: Florence
If you wish to visit the Uffizi, one of the most important museums in the world, ticket reservations will be arranged in advance to jump queues and make the most of your time. The museum’s remarkable collections boast Renaissance masterpieces by BotticelliMichelangeloLeonardoCaravaggio and Raffaello. If you want to go shopping, Via de’ Calzaiuoli and Via Tornabuoni are renowned for their fashion stores, or you may opt for a visit to The Mall fashion outlet.

Day 3: Pisa and Lucca
Your destinations for the day are the city of Pisa with the iconic Leaning Tower and charming Piazza dei Miracoli, and the city of Lucca with its beautiful, unbroken ring of Renaissance.

Day 4: Chianti Territory
Visit the charming castle of Brolio in Gaiole in Chianti and taste some excellent Chianti Classico from their cellars. Lunch is at Volpaia in Radda in Chianti. Finally, a scenic car ride through glorious hills covered in well-groomed vineyards will take you to the small town of Greve in Chianti, whose picturesque main square is home to one of the best butcher’s in Tuscany, famous for their steaks and cold cuts.

Day 5: Siena – Monteriggioni – San Gimignano
Your first stop today is Siena, the city of the Palio horse race. Visit the main landmarks and enjoy lunch in the beautiful Piazza del Campo, then stroll through the quaint Medieval streets. Further north, the castle of Monteriggioni used to be the last fortified outpost of Siena in Medieval times. Your next destination is San Gimignano, a medieval town famous for its high towers and for the excellent Vernaccia white wine.

Day 6: Montalcino – Bagno Vignoni – Pienza
On the way to Montalcino you will stop at the beautiful Sant’Antimo abbey before visiting some of the local Brunello wineries. Next, your itinerary takes you to the medieval spa town of Bagno Vignoni with its ancient thermal baths. A scenic route through luscious countryside finally takes you to Pienza, a unique Renaissance town full of fine buildings and works of art, but famous also for the local Pecorino cheese.

Day 7: Montepulciano – Cortona
The hilltop city of Montepulciano is home to the Vino Nobile. Here you should not miss a visit to one of the most stunning cellars in the world Cantina Redi. For lunch you may choose one of the many restaurants serving mouthwatering local dishes, including the restaurant of the famous Avignonesi winery. Your car will then take across the Chiana valley to beautiful Cortona, one of the jewels of Tuscany dating from Etruscan times and steeped in history.
