The Cinque Terre are a stretch of coastline in Liguria that is characterized by steep cliffs and coves, often accessible only by boat, that make them a unique marine environment that has been enlisted as a Unesco World Heritage Site and that is worldwide famous for its landscape. The medieval villages, built on the cliffs overlooking the sea, along with the surrounding territory, are a perfect example of how nature and man can work together to achieve balance and harmony. Limotuscany suggests that you start this tour with the visit of Monterosso, a charming village with picturesque alleys and typical shops. You can then move to Vernazza, that is considered the gem of the Cinque Terre, where Limotuscany recommends to have lunch in one of its typical restaurants, that serve tasty local specialties of the Ligurian cuisine. After lunch it will be possible to visit another picturesque village of the Cinque Terre (Corniglia or Manarola or Riomaggiore). On the way back, along scenic roads that wind among agricultural terraces, woods and breathtaking viewpoints, you can opt to make a short visit to the picturesque harbor of Porto Venere.
