Our driver will arrive in your hired car at your accommodation in the morning and drive you to Florence, the cradle of Renaissance culture and capital of fine arts.
You will first get acquainted with the landmarks of this breathtaking city from a panoramic viewpoint called Piazzale Michelangelo.
Your visit may start from the picturesque left bank of the city with Santo Spirito and Carmine Churches and the imposing Pitti Palace. Then cross the iconic Ponte Vecchio, lined with goldsmiths’ shops, and reach Piazza della Signoria for lunch in one of the many typical restaurants.
You’ll be spoilt for choice what to see next: the Cathedral and its Dome by Brunelleschi, the Battistero with its stunning doors, Giotto’s belltower. If you wish to visit the Uffizi gallery or see Michelangelo’s David in the Accademia, we strongly advise you to book in advance to avoid queues.
Alternatively, you can walk along Via de’ Tornabuoni and Via de’ Calzaiuoli, lined with stores of the very best Italian fashion brands.
